Bellafill is a unique dermal filler that adds immediate volume to the skin and stimulates natural collagen production. Unlike other fillers that require frequent touch-ups, Bellafill can last up to five years.
Bellafill is a smooth gel filler containing microspheres made of polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA), a biocompatible material used safely for many years in medical implants. When injected, the gel adds volume to the treated area, providing an instant cosmetic improvement.
Over time, the body’s natural collagen production is stimulated around the microspheres, which act as a scaffold, promoting the growth of new collagen fibers. This results in long-lasting volume restoration and wrinkle correction.
Your Bellafill session will start with a consultation with our experienced providers. During this appointment, you will discuss your concerns, medical history, and desired outcomes. The treatment takes less than an hour, and there is little to no downtime, allowing you to resume your daily activities immediately.
As with any injectable, there is a chance of side effects with Bellafill, but they are usually mild and temporary. You may experience some redness, swelling, bruising, or itching at the injection site, which should subside within a few days. Some patients may experience lumps or bumps under the skin, which can be corrected with additional injections. You can resume your daily activities immediately, but avoid strenuous exercise, sun exposure, and alcohol for 24 hours.
